Programming Your Pendulum

A pendulum works through the parasympathetic nervous system — the same network that governs the body's involuntary actions such as respiration and heartbeat. It is a bridge between the conscious and the subconscious mind, and with a little practice, it becomes a remarkably clear and reliable tool.

To program your pendulum, hold the chain at a comfortable height — approximately three to four inches from the crystal — resting your elbow gently on a table. Deliberately swing the pendulum in four distinct directions: back and forth, side to side, clockwise, and counter-clockwise. This introduces the four possible responses to your subconscious awareness.

Once your subconscious is alert and engaged, ask quietly and with genuine openness:

"Please give me a yes answer." Wait for a clear, steady movement in one direction.

Then ask in turn:

• "Please give me a no answer."
• "Which way will you swing for — I don't know?"
• "Which way will you swing for — I don't want to say?"

Allow each response to settle fully before moving to the next question. These four directions will remain consistent for you — they are yours. Whether you ask aloud or silently makes no difference.

The "I don't know" response indicates the answer lies in a deeper or higher aspect of awareness — simply ask your pendulum to seek that answer and return it to you. The "I don't want to say" response indicates a tender or unresolved memory — approach gently, with patience and care.

With regular practice, your pendulum will become one of the most trusted and illuminating tools in your healing and self-awareness practice.
