Every piece in this collection carries a story. Inspired by a life of travel, spirit and soulful exploration — from living in an underground Opal mining dugout, to a 3 story townhouse in Milan, an apartment in Cairo, a flat over a pub in London, the jungles of Bali, an artists apartment in Montemarte/Paris, mud huts with the Masaii tribe, ashrams in India and beyond — Lesley’s art weaves together the colour, energy and wisdom gathered from a life deeply and beautifully lived.
✨ About the Artist
A visual artist and experienced scenic paint assistant with formal Visual Arts training (Certificate III) and hands-on theatre production experience, Lesley creates across a stunning range of mediums — from scenic painting, dimensional texture building, foam carving and prop finishing, to fabric draping, environmental layering and lightweight scenic construction. Her creative practice also flows into gemmology and jewellery design, silicone moulds, resin works and functional art.
She is an exhibited artist at Montsalvat and brings her deep knowledge as a qualified gemmologist into many of her pieces — infusing each creation with the vibration, beauty and story of the earth itself.
Lesley’s art is more than visual — it is felt. Each work is created with intention, often carrying the energy of colour therapy, spiritual symbolism and the healing essence of her many modalities.
