Eco Casting Resin White Powder (Can be easily coloured)

Easy to use and fun,  water based and eco-friendly acrylic resin that sets in an amazing 30mins.

• 1kg Bag(s)
• 2 part mix with a powder component and plain tap water. It is mixed in a 3:1 ratio that is measured by weight, grams on digital scales.  
• The working time is approximately 10 minutes.

USES: Hand Building, Sculpting, Casting Decorative Figurines, Wall Plaques, Candle Bases, Masters for creating Silicone Moulds, Bookends, Lamp Bases, Jewellery, Trays, Coasters, Making Terrazzo Chips, Memorabilia

INSTRUCTIONS: Measure Powder and water by weight.

Powder 3:Water 1 (Eg 300gm Powder to 100gm Water).

You can adjust this consistency by adding in more or less water and blending well before pouring into your mould.

Mix by hand with a stirring stick until completely blended and no more lumps.

Easily Coloured using RBB Mica Powders, Pigments, Dyes or Acrylic paints. Add until desired colour is achieved.

Pour the Resin Casting Powder mixture into your mould - gently tap the mould to remove bubbles.

Demould after 30-60 minutes.

Full cure is 2 hours

If you need to carve the finished product this is best done immediately once set, rather than 24hrs fully cured.

Can be polished after 24-48 hours.

To create the terrazzo effects: you can make up thin sheets of coloured eco resin, once set - break into small chips and use when casting future projects.

To create the Clear / Floral effects:

1. Create the dish mould firstly, then once set lay your flowers on the finished mould and apply a thin layer of clear resin. 

2. Pour a thin layer of clear resin into your mould, allow to set, then complete the pour with your eco resin powder pour

3. Half Half pour: Pour your eco resin into the mould then once initially set, remove the tray from the mould and cleanly break in half. Set one half aside and place the other half back in the mould, fill the (now removed) section with clear resin, dried flowers and more clear resin to fill. Allow to set. Once demoulded you can use the other half to make another tray in the same manner.

• Skin: Avoid prolonged skin contact.
• Mask: Always use a mask when handling powders.
• Storage Guidelines: Keep in a cool dry place, well sealed (Introduction of moisture can cause your resin to set)
