Programming Your Pendulum: Hold the chain approximately 8–10cm from the crystal with your elbow resting on a table. Deliberately introduce four directions of movement — back and forth, side to side, clockwise and counterclockwise — to register these movements with your subconscious mind.

Then ask your pendulum to show you a "yes" response, followed by "no", "I don't know" and "I don't want to say." Always wait for a strong, clear movement before proceeding, stopping the pendulum between each question. Your four responses will remain consistent each time you use it.

The "I don't know" response indicates the answer lies in a deeper part of your mind or higher consciousness — ask your pendulum to seek it out. The "I don't want to say" response indicates a sensitive or painful memory — approach with gentleness and try a related question instead. Holding a second crystal in the other hand may assist.

It is always a good idea to practise and become comfortable with your pendulum before attempting chakra balances or auric alignments — confidence and clarity make all the difference.
