Quan Yin is among the most beloved deities and there are so many facts associated with the goddess. ... The ornaments such as Quan Yin pendant statues and more are believed to bestow good luck to the wearer. The goddess is also called 'The Goddess of Compassion', 'The Goddess of Mercy' and 'Avalokitesvara'

Commonly known in the West as the Goddess of Mercy, Guan Yin is also revered by both the Taoists and Buddhists. Guan Yin is usually shown in a white flowing robe - white being the symbol of purity -, and usually wearing necklaces of Indian/Chinese royalty.
