Natural Bulk Australian Petrified Wood Specimens
This listing is for a multi-variation bulk parcel of raw Australian Petrified Wood. These are genuine, high-quality unpolished geological specimens showing beautiful organic wood grains and rich color patterns. They were hand-collected by our family over decades of fossicking in Chinchilla, Australia, and sourced directly from our showroom collection. Ethically sourced.
We will hand select your pieces directly from our storage barrels for you. Because these are natural treasures, colors and sizes may vary from order to order. If you prefer larger or smaller pieces, please leave a note on your invoice to let us know your preference and we will do our best to accommodate it.
Dimensions & Weight Options
- Available Bulk Weights: 500 grams, 1 Kilogram (1000g), or 2-5 Kilograms (2000-5000g) — please select your desired option from the drop-down menu. Please note is shipping is high in Australia we will reduice the weight slightly for the 5kg lot so we can fit it in a flat rate parcel
- Specimen Count: Approx. 10 to 30 specimens per kilo (depending on individual stone sizes and if you choose to break them down further).
- Individual Sizes: Varying mixed-size rough pieces.

- Stone: 100% Natural, Authentic Australian Petrified Wood (Fossilized Tree).
- Location Origin: Chinchilla, Queensland, Australia.

- Handling Advice: Raw specimens can feature sharp edges. Please handle with care to avoid skin cuts. Not suitable for small children without active adult supervision.

Many of our pieces come directly from our showroom or our private family collection. Lesley’s father operated Minex — one of the largest mineral businesses in Australia — with factories around the world and an extensive personal collection. He attended all of the major world gem and mineral shows, bringing back only pieces that were truly special. Many of the treasures in our collection come from this beautiful legacy.
