MANI STONE
As a traditional Tibetan Buddhist practice, stones are carved or painted with the mantra of Tibets patron saint of compassion (Chenrezig).
In so doing, good karma is created for both the artist & anyone who sees the stone. Tibetan text is the writing of the mantra itself in an ancient Sanskrit. It is pronounced
OM MANI PADME HUM.
(Umm Mar Nee Pard Me Um)
It is literally translated as "The jewel is in the lotus" & is known as the 6 syllable mantra.
This hand painted mantra will bring good karma & blessings to those who look at it.
om mani padme om
Each Mani Stone is hand painted whilst the artist is practising mindful meditation and imbuing very special spiritual energies, whilst chanting constantly over the stone to bring it into creation.
*Please note actual stone may vary slightly to the one shown in the above picture as each is individually painted.
